Whether you are a local in Virginia Beach or just visiting from out of town, it's always great to know, ahead of time, about cool, fun and exciting places for kids to go during the summer. I am a local and have lived in Virginia Beach for 33 years, soooo... I am going to make it easy on you and list my favorite places to go, as well as the most popular places to go in Virginia Beach. So Get ready to take the ultimate Virginia Beach adventure with me, right from your desktop.
"Welcome everyone! My name is Christina and I will be your tour guide for today/tonight. Please put your mind at ease and all of your stress behind you. I am here to guide your way, so you don't have to do it alone!

Our first Stop today/tonight is Virginia Beach, thats right folks, the sandy beach and salty ocean. From 1st street and on, there are tons of fun things for kids to do. Right out on the sand on 1st street, kids can enjoy playing at the park right on the sandy beach. What's really great about this park, is that it is handicap accessible and wheelchairs have easy access throughout the park. Everyone will have a blast! But beware, if you want to swim after a workout at the park, you MUST move down the beach about a mile or two, passed the 1st life guard stand, to be able to swim freely. The other area of water is restricted to surfers and body boarders only!!! Kinda stinks, but atleast you know ahead of time...right?!But even so, there is actually a great story behind the park. Click here: Kids Beach Front Park (you will be able to go to other cool links while you are here, take your time, there is no rush!)
"As we move down the beach, along Atlantic Ave. I am going to show you many places all at once, So hold on tight....this adventure is going to take on some speed and may get a little bumpy....!"
"Ok...I've got a question for you all.... Can your kids, or even you handle being scared???"  Check out the Best Scary, Spooky Haunted Mansion Ever!
